Weight Loss Through Exercise

Fast weight loss capsules do not work. Sure, you may lose some weight at first but eventually you'll gain it all back and more because it's not a long term solution and it'll mess up your metabolism!

Crash diets do not work. Again you may lose a lot of weight fast but the weight you lose will be water and even worse, muscle! Losing muscle is the worst thing you can do if you are trying to lose weight long term because muscle burns more calories than fat by 25 times! You will gain your weight back fast because your metabolism will actually slow down!

How do you speed up your metabolism and lose weight long term? Simple. Exercise! Especially weight lifting. Many people don't think about lifting weights and getting stronger in relation to weight loss and that's unfortunate because that's actually the best way to lose weight. Why? Because each pound of muscle burns 50 calories per day. So if you add 10 pounds of muscle you'll be burning an extra 50 calories a day. This means that with this extra 10 pounds of muscle you can burn 500 extra calories a day or 3500 calories a week or one pound of fat per week!

Muscle is the best weapon in fighting the war on fat!
